In Patagonia, a partnership between WCS Argentina and Wildlife Friendly is encouraging regenerative livestock management, improved grazing practices, human–wildlife coexistence measures such as predator-deterrence systems, and innovative incentive structures that align conservation, carbon outcomes and market demand. The project, supported by the Regenerative Fund for Nature, highlights how complementary expertise, from conservation science to independent certification and innovative markets, can strengthen nature-positive fiber production while supporting biodiversity conservation across more than 300,000 hectares.

In recognition of the important efforts made by rural workers, WCS endorses the Wildlife Friendly® certification of the natural fibers they produce in Patagonia.
